Dave Fowler
Greetings, and thanks for reading my bio. For over seven years, I’ve used among the best and worst microphones on the market (mostly worst). After getting degrees in music, media and journalism, I studied mostly on my own to become a recording engineer. My brother and I built our own studio and equipped it with the best microphones available to our (his) line of credit. Some of the mics I currently use are Groove Tubes Velo-8, Nuemann U87, Sennheiser E914, Shure KSM109, Audix D4
I own a whole arsenal of condensor and dynamic microphones for all kinds of applications.
The extent of my recording is with world, reggae and pop music. I have recorded, produced, mastered and internationally released two full-length albums for my reggae/surf/soca band Echo Movement.
I am also very active in live performance. Since 1997, I have performed on stage almost 1,000 times for a modestly estimated 50,000 people.
Don’t worry, be happy.
