Elizabeth Whitaker
Hi, and welcome to my column. My name is Elizabeth, and I have been involved in music in one way or another for almost as long as I can remember. After receiving a degree in Music Business from The University of Memphis, I began working with various musicians in area recording studios, lending my keyboard and vocal abilities to a host of projects while learning more about the crafts of engineering and production.Over the years, I have used a host of microphones ranging from the Sennheiser 421, Rode NT1, and a variety of other condenser models in the studio, and Shure SM57s, 58s, and Betas for live shows. I am also fortunate enough to know other studio owners and musicians who own a wide variety of dynamic and condenser mics on both ends of the price spectrum, and relish the opportunity to try them out whenever I can.
In addition to promoting my own band The Opposition, I put press materials together for numerous events in and around Arkansas. I have experience writing for both print and web, and am currently working to become SEO certified. Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy.
