Panasonic's
standards are grounded in the philosophy of company founder Konosuke
Matsushita. He began building Matsushita
Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (now Panasonic) after inventing and marketing a
two-socket light fixture in 1918. He
never lost sight of the importance of putting the needs of his customers and
the public first, and Panasonic equipment is designed to be a simple and useful
part of your everyday life.
A true electronics giant, Panasonic makes televisions,
DVD players, telephones, a full line of car audio gear, and even electric
razors, microwave ovens, and coffee makers (literally everything but the
kitchen sink!). Their diverse line-up
illustrates their creative and simple approach to fulfilling consumer needs; however, audio professionals may not be satisfied with the selection of microphones offered by Panasonic. The selection is minimal and moreover, Panasonic microphones are difficult to locate. We were unable to find any microphones throughout Panasonic's corporate site, so we were therefore forced to search various retailers to find out if Panasonic microphones even exist.
Our search led is to only a few Panasonic microphone products. We found the Panasonic RP VK25 Microphone, retailed at only $17.99 and $22, respectively. We also found the Panasonic AJ-MC700 Microphone for $995, a Panasonic AG-MC200G Super-Directional Phantom Powered Microphone for around $350, and Panasonic Stereo Zoom Mic f/GS500/GS150/GS250 Microphone for about $250.
