Logitech PlayStation 2 USB Microphone
The perfect mic for playing PlayStation 2 karaoke gamesThis is an awesome mic! It’s compatible with all PlayStation 2 karaoke games and unlike headsets, you won’t have to worry about fit. I also like that it simply plugs right into the machine and the fact that it’s actually helped me improve my scores.
The only thing I found to be a little annoying with this microphone is that it needs to be held at a specific angle to get good sound. This is a bit of a pain but as most people already hold the microphone, it’s not the end of the world.
The Verdict
This is a near perfect microphone for Playstation 2 karaoke. It’s compatible with virtually all of the Playstation 2 karaoke games and it’s a blast to use. The sound is good and I love the handheld aspect.
When You Just Want To Sing Out Loud
Being handheld there is no need for adjustments after each person takes a turn. This frees up time and makes playing more fun. This is a great all-around Playstation 2 karaoke mic.
I love singing and I love my Playstation 2. That’s why I was excited to try out the Logitech Playstation 2 USB microphone. Being able to enjoy my karaoke games completely was my goal, and I was so hoping this mic would allow me to do just that. And yippee, it did!
My favorite thing about this mic is that it’s a handheld. When I’m playing games with other people, it doesn’t matter what kind of games they are, I despise waiting for my turn. I want to go-go-go and I want everyone else to, as well. That was one of my biggest problems playing karaoke games with people. I used to have one of those headsets and it took so long for everyone to get it on and adjusted. It drove me crazy! With the handset that’s not an issue anymore, we all just pass it along and it keeps everything more fun and exciting.
This little Logitech mic is a powerful one. It really boosted the sound and I’ve noticed this is missing in many other karaoke microphones. I wasn’t expecting this and the fact that it still delivered was awesome! The microphone also picks up sound pitch better than any headset I’ve tried in the past, and this may even reflect well in your scores for pitch!
The only drawback that I noticed when using this Logitech Playstation 2 USB microphone was that it has to be held quite close to your mouth when singing. This is not a big deal since you probably already do that.
And I really like that this mic is compatible with virtually all of the karaoke games on the market today. I’ve used it with American Idol and Karaoke Revolution with no problems whatsoever and I’ve heard that you can’t do this with SingStar microphones.
I definitely recommend to anyone who loves playing karaoke games to get the Logitech Playstation 2 USB microphone. It plugs right into the machine, it’s nice and light, the sound is fantastic and it fits everyone! I love it!
