Wireless Microphone System

WHY Wireless Microphone System?

A Wireless Microphone System is made up of three essential elements: an input device (microphone), a transmitter and a receiver. The microphone (input) receives the signal, and then the transmitter converts the audio to a radio signal and broadcasts it via an antenna. The receiver accepts the signal and then in turn converts that radio signal back to an audio signal. Government regulations restrict the strength of radio signals so the range of wireless devices is limited. This could be perceived as an inherent disadvantage in the system, but increased mobility and the lack of cabling is rather beneficial.
